Character Bio

I should have died.  Every doctor, every scientist, everyone who knows the dangers of a midwinter storm in the Siberian tundra knows it.  But I am not dead.  The religious call it a miracle, science calls it a mutation, but nobody can tell me why.  I believe now that it is the Well; that force of destiny which has influenced our world from time immemorial.  I believe it is the power over all nature, all magic, science, technology, which is working all in concert to bring about some cataclysmic confluence of powers.  The question that haunts me:  For what purpose?
