Character Bio

Deacon Gage, King of the Cage/ That had been his moniker as a cage fighter.  He had long suspected there was some catalyst beyond the pale of dangerous steroids that others used; something that could tap into the power of great heroes such as Hero One and Statesman.  Amid  the Shivan-wrought destruction of Galaxy City he finally found his clue.  Just a tiny shard of strange, glowing blue crystal caught his eye.  He couldn't be sure what it's power was, and there was nobody he could ask without giving away his secret, but he quickly realized his strength and vitality were greatly magnified whenever he was in direct contact with it.  His solution:  he ground some of the shard into a micro-powder & had his tattoo artist mix the powder into personalized inks.  Now he is bonded with the shard in a very unique way, through the heroic tattoos he boldly wears as a badge of his Patriotism.
