Character Bio

Bess McAllister is tha name. I was born in 1848, just in time for ma folks to join tha great California Gold Rush. Not much came of it, but y'all can say those early years put tha itch in me. Tha itch to git rich.

Like ma folks, I didna have much luck in that department. But 'twas that need that got me in trouble in tha end, and what led to me ending up where I'ma at now. Now see here, we had this tribe o' Injuns that was passing near where my posse had settled. Tha Chief had some interestin' things that I knowed would fetch a fair price out East.

So me an' muh boys, we snuck out ta tha camp at night and robbed 'em blind. Problem is, they figured out pretty quick and gave chase. We got away, or at least thought we did. Storm hit, the next thang I know, I'm here and my boys is dead or gone.

Authorities didna take much of a liking to my trying to knock over a bank, but I'm liking these Isles so far. Gettin' me a new posse and some of these gadgets. I'll make a name for myself here.
