Character Bio

Little is known about Malcolm Grayson after he deserted from the PPD Powers Division nearly three years ago. An orphan largely raised by the state, he should have been an ideal superpowered soldier, but something went wrong on an early solo assignment in Powers Division that caused him to walk away from all of it.

Malcolm was sighted in the ruins of the First Ward by D.U.S.T. agents and made his antipathy for them obvious, but given his upbringing and Cole?s well-established use of infiltrators, he was a risk for the Resistance and showed little interest in other groups. 

This makes the apparently mutual trust between Malcolm Grayson and Barnaby of Many Colors all the more remarkable. As the seemingly independent Carnival agent Legerdemain, Malcolm has made his mark on the First Ward, but in recent months has gathered other metahumans into a strike team within the Carnival, the ultimate goal of which remains to be seen.
