Character Bio

Mara was born into a very traditional Hungarian family that stayed true their family name. Their small shop was full of colourful hand woven fabrics that were made in their home. Mara, like the rest of her family learnt how to weave so she could contribute to the families business. When she was just 15 she fell in love with a dangerous man who eventually had Mara take the fall for a serious crime. Her family, dishonoured by her actions and turned their backs on her. Broken hearted and alone, Mara left on the first ship she could sneak onto, when the ship stopped and all was quiet, she snuck off to check out where she had ended up and to start a new life. After a year on the streets she was taken in by a woman that worked as a Fortunata Seer for Arachnos. Mara began training to take her place along her adopted mothers side and now at the age of 19 has found a place among the ranks of Arachnos.
