Faced with a constant war for survival, mankind looked to anything that would give them a chance. The Order of St. Areala stepped up to the challenge. Following her training and the child birthing all were required to ensure the continuation of the species, Sister Camile Vanes went into the field. For close to 15 years, she fought a losing war with demonkind.
In the ruins of Washington DC, she saw what should've been her last battle. Staying behind to buy the evacuation time to get through the portal, before destroying keystones to prevent them following, Sister Camile stood alone against hundreds of demons in a stone chamber underground with an unstable, unachored portal. Instead, the explosion tossed the warrior nun into a new world.
