Character Bio

William Masters unearthed many documents describing magical rituals as an archaeologist. However he never revealed them to his peers, fearing ridicule. When he started hearing about magical kidnappings and real undead roaming the streets however, he started studying these documents in earnest. Surely those documents couldn't be real!??! At great risk to himself he found he was able manipulate energies in ways unexplainable by modern science.

Then he simply vanished for over a decade. Unbeknownst to anyone an ancient mystic, the Arcanum Prime, had come to him and shown him visions of the Circle of Thorns, the Banished Pantheon, and yet a new magical threat on the horizon, the Cabal, and shown him how the world would be if just one of these groups were able to fulfill their vile plans. Masters went with the mystic and agreed to become his aprentice. When he returned from that sojurne he bore the title Arcanum Prime.
