There was no denying that Gabrielle Washington was a child of privilege. With a family line claiming the first President and both nationwide and international business connections, there were few doors closed to her.

That silver spoon ended up drawing the attention of the mob who had the Virginian heiress kidnapped. Her family pulled some strings and got a metahuman to go after her while they tried to negotiate with the Family. The ensuing battle ended up with Gabrielle exposed to the meta's super serum enhanced blood, triggering a sympathetic reaction in her own. A few days in the hospital and the newly empowered woman woke up to a life she had never expected.

One thing her family had always done their best to instil in all members, however, was a sense of responsibility to the sanctity and betterment of the nation. Now Gabrielle had the chance to be part of the voices that shaped her nation. No Washington would sit idly by for that, and Miss Columbia was no exception!
