"Fortune LeBoux, yes that's my real name. My mom gave it to me right
before she died. Daddy raised me alone until the gambling got to him
when I was 11. I was only at the orphanage for six months until the
fire. That winter, my shelter turned out to be a shipping container
heading for Indonesia. At least until pirates hijacked it at took it to the
Isles. They were still deciding what to do with me when a metavillain
came through looking for something and blowing up anyone in his way.
Then /another/ one came in looking for /him/! Things kinda snowballed
from there and before I knew it, the wearhouse was burnt ashes and
I was inside Ghost Widow's tower, don't ask.

So there I was, standing in front of the Lady herself. She gave me this
amused half smile and had me enrolled in the Fortunata program. Now here
I am six years later, still bringing bad luck but now I can control it.
