When Skatha was sent to the Isles by Malta to eleminate a 'troublesome' mutant, it was never anticipated that she would be waylaid by one of the Destined Ones with electric powers that ruined her control coller. Nor could Malta have guessed that Mako would attack their local cell for some slight, real or imagined. When the wounded MX-HK-09 arrived back, she found all enforceable connections to Malta gone. Burning the wreckage of the coller off left scars on her neck that she left after a trip to the Facemaker to ensure no Malta could recognize the previous 4'3" black cat in the 5'8 gray one. Freedom was hers, though some of her choices were limited, here in the Isles.
