Character Bio

Henry Johnston was a laboratory scientist at the Biogenetics underground facility hidden in a deserted area of New Mexico. His specialty being cryo-technology, Hank was working on a project that could have very well lead to the extinction of all cancer-related diseases. On the verge of the final breakthrough, Johnston was confronted by an Arachnos thug who imprisoned him in his own cryostasis chamber!

Due to prolonged exposure to radioactive chemicals from his experiments, the cryogenic properties of the chamber were bonded with his body on a molecular level . . . .

The day he moved to Paragon City was the day the War Walls were destroyed in Siren's Call. A reporter noted Hank's bravery and ingenuity in holding off a massive Arachnos surge. The picture caption read, "This hero has helped put our minds at ease." From that point forward, Henry Johnston was known as . . . The Courageous CATHARCTIC!

Catharctic's new personal mission is to rid the world of the cancer that is Arachnos.
