Such madness, pain, and despair! How can a mere clinical social worker give advice to a parent whose child was dissected by the Vazhilok . . . or the victim of a Rikti probe? I feel their screams rising inside me every night.

I have been thinking more and more about "lucid dreaming." Perhaps I can learn to control my own nightmares, and finally get some peace.

Dear Journal,
My dreams . . . nightmares of darkness and fear . . . and then I tried to use the lucid dreaming techniques to change my bad dreams, to heal, to bring blessed sleep . . . and something happened!

I think I can *control* nightmares! And my voice rings with the suffering of all of Paragon City's victims.

Now that I can sleep at night, I'm having good dreams, flying dreams. There are FEATHERS growing on my shoulders. What's it mean?
