From the darkness I was pulled . A wild untamed force, given shape, and bound to the home of my keepers.  I was nothing more than a conduit, a vessel, a tool. Passed from parent to child as the years turned. I served the family of my making without err or question.

Then came Aramais, a keeper of a different sort. He was determined that I should be more. That I should think,learn, grow, and most importantly feel. It took him the full sum of his years to see his plan to fruition. By his hand I live, with his death I am no longer bound.  
Step by tenative step, I learn what it is to be free to do as I will.
