They say that Edward Shade was once one of the highest ranked mages among The Circle of Thorns, the Arcane Death Mage, for his innate ability to control the forces of the Nether Realm. After going undercover to a M.A.G.I. meeting preseded by the mystic Azuria, he met a girl, a fortune teller, for whom he developed special feelings. As the other Mages noticed, they decided that Edward was no longer reliable, kidnaped the girl and performed the rituals on her. Her soul seemed to have travelled to Limbo, apparently lost forever. Edward punished the ritual performers, vanquishing many into the Nether Realm. The task weakened him, and Baron Zoria sealed his powers off with a Rune of Lockdown on his right eye. Unable to dispell the Rune, he ripped off his eye and unleashed his powers and escaped. Now, he plans a maccabre vendetta agaisnt the Circle...
