Character Bio

She didn't know the source of the calling. She'd led nothing but a normal life, after all, decent Minnesota family, couple boyfriends, prom, off to college - but the calling wouldn't be ignored.
She disappeared for days before the midterm. The counselor put it off as stress, and talked her professors into letting her take the exams late.
The next time, she was gone for a month. When she came back, she came back - changed. She packed up her books and went searching.... all she said was "The old man wanted me to keep an eye on things. I didn't think it was that funny."
