Character Bio

Born from a long line of patriots, Kyle Arvida enlisted in the Navy right out of high school. He progressed quickly through the officer ranks, having just made Lieutenant when the Rikti began their deadly assault on Paragon City. Not content to defend his city from afar, he requested and received a leave of absence to assist the heroes fighting the desperate battle on the front lines.

Critically wounded while holding off three advancing Rikti divisions, Arvida single-handedly prevented them from flanking the hero resistance. Eventually, the heroes won the day and cited Arvida's ferocity and bravery as key to their victory. Later, in recovery, Arvida discovered the Rikti mental assaults and energy weapons had altered his DNA, giving him superhuman strength and endurance.

Arvida finished his career in the Navy with distinction, retiring with the rank of Admiral. He has now returned home to fight crime as the leader of the Iron Alliance, one of Paragon City's most renown supergroups.
