Character Bio

A Will O' The Wisp is a supernatural fairy from European Folklore that is said to be trapped between Heaven and Hell. They are known as trixters who like to lure unsuspecting people into danger at night by shining a small light. While usually found in bogs and marshes, Will O' The Wisps can be found out anywhere in the countryside.

Several hundred years ago, I attempted to lure a druid over a precipice. He initially survived the fall but he broke his jaw and was unable to speak with anything louder than a whisper. As he lay dying, he began uttering a whispered curse. He cursed me with an icy soul, forever unable to feel anything.

I passed out, and when I awoke, I lost all pleasure I had derived from my former life as a trixter. I also discovered that, as a side effect to an icy soul, came the ability to conjure and control ice. Now, lacking all feeling, I became completely selfish, doing what I wanted and taking what I wanted. I am now the will of the whisper.
