Character Bio

Hidden under Dark Astoria at his Evermoor Facility, the mad Dr. Serpentes bred his would-be minions, mixes of human and animal DNA that he then subjected to torturous augmentation and experimentation to try and boost their powers. Saanj, bred from feline genetic material, was placed in Project Spartan and subjected to the brutal regimen of training there, though he spent much of his time in the torturous experiments of Project Tesla, having his body implanted with devices to try and recreate the abilities manifested by some subjects of Project Thoth, only without having to use magic. It resulted in him being able to manipulate and channel fire, as well as produce it from his body without harming himself, one that he could use both to protect himself and channel into his attacks. Further experiments were planned for him to help but they were interrupted by the breakout attempt by subjects of Project Spartan, with Saanj joining his brethren in battling his way to escape to Paragon City's streets.
