Character Bio

A meek portal researcher in Paragon city, Bernie Hadens discovered a way to slightly amplify the effects of certain Rikti teleporters by adding heat directly to the processing chip. The chip overloaded, sending him straight to a hellish dimension. After clearing up the misunderstanding with the natives there, he was soon allowed to leave. The result of the traveling imbued with demonic powers, giving him the ability to control fire and teleport. But the whole experience ticked him off so much that he decided to become a villain. Go figure.
