Part of the 1'st Issue 9 Hamidon Raid.
Short story: She is a young, comly and highly skilled sorceress. She has been a hero since the first Rikti war (what happened before that time she will not be very forthcoming with). The truth is, and you may notice it in old papers etc (You got to do some digging) that there was criminal named Lady Arete in the city before the war. You may even have been one of the few heroes that saw her escaping a band of Circle mages before she got arrested (and thus be a surviver of the war yourself). 
She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to jail. She has put the past behind her and now work as a hero with the New Heroes union. She is known for her relentless fight against the Circle and her magic abilities. The rest... RP and find out.
