Character Bio

Sean Lennon had it all: an affluent family, good looks, friends, and a brilliant future in front of him. Against his parents' wishes, at eighteen Sean married his then-girlfriend Alicia, believing it was true love. His parents disowned him for this act of defiance and threw him out. Sadly, his marriage lasted only a few months before Alicia left him. Unable to turn to his own family, Sean left the west coast, and came to Paragon City. When he arrived, Sean was abducted by Crey agents, who detected certain genetic anomalies in him indicating he had great mutant power dormant within him. Sean was drugged, tormented, and abused in a variety of ways in hopes of activating his powers. To the Crey's regret, they succeeded, and the initial manifestation caused millions of dollars of damage to the Crey facility.Before the Crey could do any more, Sean was rescued by Morgan, who helped him gain control of his powers, and he assumed the name Pheonyx. He has built a life for himself here.
