"What the hell is she?!" Riley demanded in something very like terror.

"She?" Desemphecles asked, trying to keep the grin off his face.

"Well, I think it's female." Riley admitted. "I'm not sure."

"From what I've seen, *she* appears to be human, but born and raised in a dimension so warped that her thoughts are alien to you. I suspect that concepts like 'time' and 'space' are quite novel to her. She certainly seems amused by them," the once Arch-demon suggested.

"Yeah, very funny." The boy shuddered. "I really need girls throwing anti-matter rocks at my head because they like me," Riley complained.
