Jewelblade and Spiritglass are two sides of the same soul. A soul seperated by the face of a mirror and by reality itself. They exist apart, but forever entwined...

Aaris Tarngreave had spent his entire life honing his mystical abilities. He was, after all, destined to be the vizier for his father's court one day. Aaris trained specifically in the use of the Spiritglass. An artifact that could focus a part of one's lifeforce outside the body as a powerful beam of energy. In his training, he also read of something known as the Twinning Plane. It is a mirror with the ability to let those who peer at it see not themselves, but their soul as it exists in a parallel reality. Aaris would gaze into that surface, and see a man living in Paragon City: a hero.

He longed to abandon his "destiny" to join that man, and fight evil.  One day, he not only had the chance to save that man's life but also to join him on the hunt for peace and justice!
