Character Bio

The Grula were a long-lived retpilo-humanoid race that dwelt on a planet many parsecs from Earth. The leader of the Grula people was called the Grula'ak. He, or she, was selected after an immensely long and grueling string of challenges ending with the Mragoeth (an epic gladiatorial battle royale in which it is not uncommon to lose a limb). The winner of the Gratet would then became the new Grula'ak.

Ora Kalhu'u had won the right to be the Grula'ak. Little did he know that he would be the last that the Grula would ever have. As his final blow was landing, a giant ship crashed into the Grula's sun and caused it to begin its progression toward supernova. The Kheldian aboard the ship (Light-Bridge) asked Ora if they might join together to save each other from almost certain death when the sun exploded. Ora, thinking that Light-Bridge might be a Sun God, quickly agreed with him; and so they were merged. It was not until much later that the realized the full impact of his decision...
