An unusual electrical storm hit the hospital where Dr. Goodheart was busily working in the ER. A strange lightning bolt went through Iris, and when she woke up several days later, she was no longer the normal doctor she had been.

Able to heal with these new powers, as well as fight with the same lightning that had changed her, Dr. Goodheart took to the streets to prevent the injuries she used to treat . . . but now as a superhero.
