The well 'documented' incident of Lon Cheney's curse is well known, though many beleive he was just an actor, and not actually gypsy cursed himself, as the story goes. The story left out some key elements, however. The gypsy curse is a test and great gypsy honor, only bestowed on those thought to be pure of heart. Though no-one before had managed to survive the test long enough the gypsy woman knew he was the one. After many years of wandering as abeast Cheney finally fought through and gained control of the dark energies in the curse, and can now use them to harm or hinder those that would do the same to others, along with immortality, the ultimate gift of the curse.
