Character Bio

She stands there on that hill, silent as the wind blows threw her hair, staring into the distance. Blood still drips from her blade, and the shield strapped to her arm is battered and wrent. All around her for miles, stretching to the horizon, the bodies of beasts and men lay freezing in the chill morning air.

"It is time."

She turns to face the winged messenger behind her. She nods, bringing the sword up in front of her face, and salutes the Valkyrie.

"Very well."

A flash of light, and sword and shield fall to the blood-soaked earth.


A thousand years later and Dr. Moira Kelvin opens the door of the unmarked tomb with care. Such an unusual find, this burial site, she thinks as her eyes adjust to the blackness.

Another surprise, there is no body in this tomb. Set upon a small altar are a sword and a shield.

"How curious."

She reaches out to touch them and there is a flash of light; before her stands the Valkyrie.

"You are chosen."
