Character Bio

Hidden under Dark Astoria at his Evermoor Facility, the mad Dr. Serpentes bred his would-be minions, mixes of human and animal DNA that he then subjected to torturous augmentation and experimentation to try and boost their powers. Nishaj, bred from feline stock, was placed in Project Spartan, intended for use as a shock trooper in Dr. Serpentes' criminal schemes, and subjected to a brutal regimen of training, experimentation, and torture. The experiments, carried out under Project Tesla, involved exposure to dangerous and exotic energy types, as well as channeling such energies directly into his body. It infused him with them, allowing him to channel those energy fields through his attacks to amplify their damage. When problems with Project Ascend led to a security failure and Project Spartan's subjects staged their breakout, Nishaj joined in with them, using his newfound powers to battle his way through Dr. Serpentes' loyal minions to the relative freedom of Paragon City's streets.
