Character Bio

Jan was just an ordinary college student until the day she found these weird looking bracelets in a pawn shop. When she put them on, she felt excruciating pain and passed out. When she woke the bracelets were gone. She forgot about it until a few weeks later, when some tried to mug her. She felt a pain in her wrists and claws appeared. She was able to easily fend off the mugger.

Weeks later, Jan felt a terrible pain in her head and back. When she looked in a mirror, she found she had pointed ears and a tail. But she also felt stronger and was able to leap higher and run faster. A week later, her hands had turned to claws. Jan started wearing a trench coat and a veil to cover her cat like face. She wondered who she could turn to for help.

Finally, Jan found an oriental mystic. He gave her a magic amour to wear, which seemed to stop her transformations. Over time, it removed most of her feline features, but it allowed her to retain her speed, strength and agility.
