Actually the truth to the origin of Captain Fabulous's power does in fact lie with fairies. Travis Dean was just like any other citizen of Founders Falls. With the minor exception he dresses MUCH better than most guys there. (wink wink) By chance encounter he stumbled upon a heated battle between the gorgeous faerie princess Rose Gold and Lady Grave, her "arch-enemy of the week". It was a pivotal moment in the battle when Lady Grave got the upper hand and was about to land a killing blow. Travis stepped in and blind sided the villain, saving Rose's life. Instantly the two became BFF's, often with Travis getting involved in her many battles himself. Having proven his mettle as a champion of all that is good and FABULOUS, Lord White Gold knighted him a captain, thus bestowing upon him his magical shield and armor.
