Character Bio

Following the fall of the Soviet Union, Lubyanka Square was investigated by the Russian Federal Security Bureau (FSB). In a sub-sub-basement of the former KGB headquarters, researchers found a number of cells belonging to a program called KRASNY POZAR ("Red Fire,") an attempt by the KGB Special Metaphysical Research Division to create a number of fire-based metanormal soldiers for the Spetznas. Most of the subjects had expired, killed during the attempted coup. One blind girl had survived; her development arrested, her powers still awakening themselves, she was quiet and reserved but had severe amnesia. Hoping she could shed light on the atrocities commited by the SMRD, she was named "Pravda." However, she proved to have been indoctrinated strongly (read: brainwashed) into Communist propaganda, and became irrational and disturbed when confronted with the fall of the Soviet Union. She took on the name "Czertovka" ("She-Devil") and thence disappeared without a trace.
