Character Bio

Raine Murphy never set out to cause anyone trouble. When she got to Paragon University, she met a group of environmental activists whose message she embraced. She went to many protests with them, even going so far as to chain herself to old growth trees to prevent their destruction. All was well, until one fateful day the group headed into parts of Paragon City that they shouldn't have. While chained to a tree, trying to prevent the destruction of an old growth forest, the tree started to move! There was much shouting and yelling, and the next thing she knew there were heroes and bright lights... and then she woke up in the hospital. Apparently the recreational substances she had in her system reacted badly to the exposure of the heroes' powers, and they now considered her a threat. Chained to her bed, they took her to the infirmary at the Zig where for a year they would perform tests to her. One fateful day, Arachnos stormed the Zig, and she was rescued. Now Raine seeks revenge.
