Character Bio

Dr. Toby Frost is on staff as a professor at Paragon University in the field of Women's Studies, and is also a practicing Witch. Her magical practices unleashed latent mutant powers within her, namely the ability to summon and control vast amounts of energy. These powers manifest either in the form of torrents of power or in the ability to control and manipulate ice. One day after class, she saw a woman getting dragged into an alley. Without thinking, she dashed into the alley and subdued the would-be purse snatcher. However, the battle left her broken and weary. When she came to, the Goddess Freyja stood over her. Freyja told Dr. Frost that she was very impressed with her skills and abilities, and her willingness to protect the innocent. She showed Dr. Frost how to use her powers effectively, and made her a Valkyrie. Now Dr. Frost, also known as Valkyrie Frost, is a protector of the city of Paragon.
