A moment ago that Longbow was on patrol; now he's lying in a pool of blood. The little girl in the red cloak -- she can't be more than ten -- hums pleasantly as she finishes the job with an efficient slice to the throat, then she starts cleaning her collection of blades (everything from steak knives to scalpels). Then she notices you observing her. She looks at you and grins, self-congratulatory, like you've witnessed her win a hopscotch tournament instead of slaughter a person. And with a giggle, she's pulled her hood back over her face... and is gone.
