There used to be a convent in the middle of Eastgate. It now lies shattered at the bottom of Grendel's Gulch, but all the nuns inside still live, because God chose to bless me with a power I never knew I possessed until then.

I realize now I have been granted these powers for a reason. The Lost prey upon the helpless. Vahzilok defile the dead and the living. The Hellions, the Circle, and the Banished ally with the very forces of Hell. The Devil himself is trying to take this city, this former beacon of light and justice. I have left my former life of solitude and taken to the streets, knowing now that, with God's help, it is time to start taking it back.
