Character Bio

The International Polo Club of Charleston was a symphony rich with thick accents, a moden day Tower of Babel capable of toppling over our champions if not for their unshakable comradery and individual strengths. Each player was as poised and elegant in press interviews as they were on the field - save one.

Affectionately dubbed "Broken English" by her mates for possessing the only utterly incoherent dialect, the Cockney never managed a straightforward communication but for a signature snarl at opposing teams. For her, practice never ended. "The rine in Spine sties minely oun the pline" ...recitation only made it worse.

Her team mysteriously lost flight-bound to a championship tournament, Chase recuperated for months in an undisclosed location. Unsavory headlines proclaimed: "Broken English is Broken Entirely!"

Now hidden from media sensationalism, her former coach and mentor will only say, "She can still defend, still inspire. She's fighting elsewhere now."
