Character Bio

An unexpected change in her daily routine altered Amber's life forever. An accident on her way home made her take a detour and become hopelessly lost. As she started looking for a place to ask for directions back to Main, she saw smoke on the horizon. She called 911 as she reached the burning homes, getting out to try to do what she could. Seeing a young girl trapped in the upper floor of a two story home, though, she knew the fire department wouldn't be here in time to save her.
She saved the girl, but was nearly killed herself. Her selflessness brought her attention, though, and she found herself not dead, but empowered.
Amber quit her job that day and took up a new mantle, one of hero. Even if she's a bit too warm these days and hears constantly from her mother about her outfit, she's doing what she knows is right.
She wouldn't have it any other way.
