Lucas Templeton's family history is shouded in magic and mystery: originally refusing to accept the weight of his heritage, he studied to become a successful computer programmer and went on to work in experimental science. He provided his expertise in the construction of a holographic matter-conversion device and ultimately offered to become a successful test candidate.
The process triggered his latent mystical talent and found he could use his abilities to become a holographic form without the use of machinery, and he eventually sought help from his father Lias, an established mystic and "alchemist". In his mission to hone his powers over light and to understand his own roots, he took up heroism under the Holographic Champion name.
"Holo", as he is best known, has a kind and noble personality and is committed to upholding law and justice whenever he is able.
