Character Bio

Sigurd "Ziggy" Landon is a boatsman at heart, yet he could not prevent himself being tossed into the ocean during a sudden unnatural storm. Lost for days in the waves, the villagers of the small community in which he resided were surprised to find him alive and well, but also changed.

During his ordeal, he was given the chance to communicate with the ancient Titan of the seas, Oceanus. After washing up on shore, the being transmuted Ziggy's body into water and commanded him to stand in human form with his will. Having succeeded in this "trial", the Titan gave his blessing and empowered the human with the gift of watershaping and the ability to mimic all the sounds of the seas and oceans before returning to slumber.

Ziggy has since travelled to Paragon City to put his powers to good use as the "Tidal Protector".

(Has some defense against mind-reading: his thoughts are percieved to be as fluid as the ocean.)
