Character Bio

Growing up, Jarona Aethel always felt different from the other kids.  She just assumed everyone felt that way, and tried harder to act like the people around her.
Then her father disappeared, and she found out that even if everyone *did* feel that way, in her case, at least, it wasn't a lie.  She *was* different, more different than she could ever have imagined. 
Instead of following the plans she'd originally made for college, Jarona opted to remain in Paragon City when she finished high school last year.  She's still learning how to use the her father's legacy, but she hopes that someday, especially if she remains near his home, it will help her to find his killers. . . .
In the meantime, she juggles classes, attempting to meet new people, a part-time job, and the occasional freelance "rescue" or "help to save the world" gig.  You know, the usual college life.
