The Disciples of the Monkey King have a long and colorful history. The Monkey King, immortal trickster and irrepressible spirit, chooses his disciples with great care.

Disciples must not only possess the ready mind and strength of arm necessary for the Monkey King's elaborate fighting style, but must also exhibit the unpredictability, sense of humor and independence of spirit that the Great Stone Ape so values. Disciples thus tend to be few and far between, but are always a force to be reckoned with when encountered.  

Laughing Monkey's forte is the magics of perception and illusion. True to his friends and allies (at least for as long as he considers them such), Laughing Monkey lives by his own code and his own set of rules.   He can be affable, cruel, playful or indifferent as the winds dictate. He is, however, never dull.
