Character Bio

Catherine Grey grew up on old detective novels and serials. She knew what she wanted to be when she was an adult. A few years with the police force in Chicago, though, made her decide to strike out on her own. She'd already picked up the "cat" nickname not just for her actual name but for her ability to get into places she wasn't expected to be (and into trouble, more often than not.)
She struck out on her own, getting her PI license and doing odd jobs, somehow making ends meet until she crossed the Chicago branch of the Family. On the run, she stumbled across a wayward Warshade, who'd had problems of - her? - own. Together, they convinced the Family to leave her be. Knowing she could do more good, she sold her client list and made her way to Paragon.
