Character Bio

In the 1980s the U.S.S.R. created a top secret project to produce a robot soldier. Named after Karel Capek, the man who coined the word robot, the Capek project was born. When the Soviet Union fell, all funding was lost. In the chaotic aftermath the plans and prototype were stolen by the Russian Mafia and sold to the Crey Corporation.

Crey poured money into the program creating two more prototypes only to have it stolen by a scientist named Dr. Aeon.

Aeon produced Capek version 7.0. This "Capek-7" was everything it promised to be when the project began. But, one Sunday morning, Crey spies hacked into Aeon's computers and unleashed a virus. Aeon saved his research but the virus infiltrated Capek-7. Somewhere in this cocktail of broken code random lines were spliced together giving Capek sentient thought.

Now on the loose, Capek-7's logic and behavior is made from its memory of commmunist philosophy, Crey morals, and Dr. Aeon's wild, but ingenius visions of grandeur.
