My mother said I was cursed as no child should look so hideous as I. That is why I hide my face. She made me pray to the gods for forgiveness for the sins I must have done in my previous lives. One day I dreamed my prayers had been answered, and lo I awoke the next morn to find I could call forth the powers of the earth! I have been given the opportunity, nah, the power and responsibility to gain redemption for those sins. I shall not fail! I shall not falter! I will prevail! I will cleanse my sins so that in my next life I may have a greater opportunity to be granted access to Valhalla!
