Character Bio

Shortly after enrolling in the Academie d'Farcier, Francois found his life-long dream of becoming a mime was in jeopardy. A rare genetic defect left him unable to control the volume of his voice. His instructors kicked him out of their classrooms on the first day, except for one. Taking pity on the young man, this instructor taught Francois the legendary skills of the mime. However, Francois soon discovered during an intense "pulling the invisible rope" exercise, that the same genetic defect that altered his voice allowed him to control gravity! Another discovery soon followed: a "trapped in a glass box" exercise taught him how to create gravometric force fields. Soon after his studies were complete, he read an article about mimes in Paragon City being savagely beaten at every performance. Seeking revenge for his brothers in mime, he took the name of The Screaming Mime and seeks this gang of thugs to this day. Sadly he has only one clue: "One guy was kinda tall, and his name was Carl."
