Character Bio

Most girls Holly's age are worried about grades, boys, or clothes. They're not concerned with strange visions or involuntary teleportation. When other girls are just beginning to notice the changes in their bodies brought on by adolescence, Holly's body was betraying her. Her life was falling apart because of her strange mutant powers.

Her personal crisis came to a head during her thirteenth birthday party. Holly accidentally exploded her cake all over her friends and family.

Luckily for Holly, her father is the famed research scientist, Dr. Larry Star. After analyzing Holly's abilities, he fabricated boots and gauntlets that allow her to harness her powers. He also moved his daughter and his family to Paragon City so that her high-school experience could be somewhat 'Normal'.

When she's not grounded, Holly sometimes fights crime with some of the other super-powered students of the prestigious Eastgate Academy, where she maintains a 3.80 freshman GPA.
