Character Bio

Dan Coleman was a Rhodes Scholar conducting research in British Columbia on the mating habits of the endangered Kermode "Spirit" Bear when he accidentally stumbled on what appeared to be shaman conducting a ceremony. Accosted by them and drugged, he woke in a place that can only be described as "the Green." Bearing a strange tattoo and infused with the playfulness, claws, ferocity and bio-rhythmic control of twin black bear cubs, he would be a spokesbeing for his brothers to humanity. Now he uses his claws, healing abilities, and the ability to travel "through the Green" to protect the life and peace of his brother bears.

NOTE: In 2/06, British Columbia brokered a land-deal that will protect 18,000 sq km of land, including one of the largest intact temperate rainforests in the world -- the home of the Kermode "Spirit" Bear.
