Aria never really wanted to be a super hero. It was one thing to play when she was a kid at saving the world but it wasn't quite the respnsibility or stability she was looking for in her adult life. Sometimes, however the choice isn't made for you.

Making ends meed in grad school could involve a lot of sketchy deals, and one that promised a fair amount of cash for some basic reflex research seemed too good to be true. But rent as a constant looming threat means being choosy isn't always an option. The AerTech Corporation was moving ahead with testing and may have misfiled a few papers with the FDA to get it approved for humans.

The virtual reality and simulator experiments fragmented Aria's mind into two personalities, one the brash hero and the other an insecure girl. But rather than face therapy, the melding of her body with part of the lab equipment in an unexpected experiment meant a career change. And in Paragon, when you get super powers there is only one thing to do.
