Character Bio

If I had any superpowers before this whole mess it'd probably be beginners luck. Without fail, I'd be able to walk away from any new situation a victor.  The problem is that a guy like me gets addicted to winning, or more importantly winnings.

I got into the habit of gambling. I'm not going to make this one of those: "Hi I'm Greggory Snaps, and I have a problem" sort of deals...well I guess that is what I'm doing. Anyways, my good old superpower had a catch and after my first attempt at anything my luck faded. Well, faded is an understatement, my luck would pull an Amelia Erhart and completly drop off the map.

Soon enough I ran out of things to try (and bet on) and that's when life became hard. Short story short: I owed certain people money and I had only my life to pay them with. So you know what I did? I knew death was coming for me so I went looking for death. 

Bought myself a pistol at the pawnshop and waited for death to come. He came and I gambled with him for my soul, to keep.
