Character Bio

Claire Connor was a college student when she volunteered for the experiment that changed her life. The scientist, Dr. Thomas Oswald, wanted to test a procedure he had developed, promising Claire that if it worked, she would become his top assistant for future projects. Unknown to Claire, the procedure was Oswald's attempt at duplicating the procedure Praetor Berry had used to empower himself.
When Berry found out, he was angry at Oswald for trying to duplicate his work. Both Oswald and Claire were sent to the Behavioral Adjustment Facility. When it became evident that Claire had gained superpowers, she was released from the BAF and assigned to Praetor White's Powers Division.
Claire was deeply bitter at what she saw as her life being stolen from her. When her first mission for Powers Division had her assigned to infiltrate the Resistance, Claire took the opportunity to jump ship. She remained with Powers Division, keeping up appearances while secretly working against those who wouldn't let her walk away.
